(Junior ) Trader !
Poste:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You receive thorough training on the ins and outs of trading on the international market.
- You are responsible for the daily purchasing and selling at the best possible margins to supply providers and large industrial enterprises, mostly via screen trading.
- You operate nomination and balancing programs to manage the service and minimise discrepancies between supply and demand.
- You assess the risks of portfolio management.
- You ensure that trade activities and pricing are in line with the contractual conditions.
- While building your expertise, you look into ways to optimise and automate current trading and invoicing systems and controlling mechanisms.
Profil:
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have a Master’s degree in an exact subject (Applied Economics, Engineering, Mathematics...) or you have attained a similar level through relevant experience.
- You have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an analytical role.
- You have a flair for numbers and are able to see the big picture without losing track of details.
- You like to broaden and deepen your knowledge and expertise & share relevant information with the team.
- You have strong Excel skills and ability to navigate your way around Microsoft Office.
- You show a can-do and proactive attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- You are a keen problem solver and have a natural tendency to optimise processes and methods.
- Ethics and fair values are of the utmost importance to you; you demonstrate integrity.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and speak fluently dutch Dutch . Knowledge of any other EU language is a plus.
