Deutsche Bank is a leading international bank with a focus on Private, Corporate and Investment Banking. Its Technology, Data & Innovation unit is providing IT services and software development to these business areas from its worldwide development centres. TDI’s strategic objective is to improve the time-to market with reduced costs by increasing the usage of central platforms, consolidating applications and decommissioning legacy applications, while transforming traditional on-premise services to cloud-based services in our strategic partnership with Google. Shared Applications and Services has a central role in these activities with a global responsibility on shared software platforms like the Document Management and Archiving platform, which provides regulatory archiving of documents and data, supports digital sales and operations processes, and enables the decommissioning of legacy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and management of a team of operations specialists for the CMIO archiving platform application.
- Monitor CMIO applications, automate processes, perform housekeeping and maintenance activities, and manage certificates.
- Incident and Problem Management according to ITIL
- Provide thought leadership and expert advice to key stakeholders in relation to service operation aspects.
People Management
- Undertake staff recruitment and selection.
- Conduct staff performance appraisals.
- Ascertain resource skill level and provide appropriate development planning.
- Mentoring staff and ensure that applicable development programs are followed by all staff.
- Identify training requirements
- Develop and maintain resource succession plans.
- Manage staff leave
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or similar
- Good understanding of how to operate custom and off the shelf software applications
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Conflict management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in English, although not required, basic German would be helpful.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Curiosity.
- Experience on a similar position is a plus
