CHANEL boutiques are the heart of the brand’s progressive vision of style and beauty. As the showcase for CHANEL’s aspirational creations, the Boutique trusts the Local Fashion Stock Manager to ensure that stock is available and accessible to allow the sales team to offer the best possible service to clients. Managing the team of Local Fashion Stockists, the Local Fashion Stock Manager is responsible for steering and managing the Boutique’s stocks, orders and deliveries. By optimising management of the Boutique’s stock, the Local Fashion Stock Manager ensures CHANEL’s highly coveted Fashion stock is in the correct place at the correct time and presented in accordance with the House’s image strategy to facilitate the selling ceremony.

Enabling the ultimate client journey by ensuring sales teams have access to Fashion stock, thanks to an efficiently run team of Local Fashion Stockists.
  • Coordinating the Local Fashion Stockist team’s activities and promoting collaboration by ensuring that information is shared
  • Ensuring that the team understands and implements the company's strategy
  • Supporting the team in achieving its objectives
  • Ensuring that the team masters the internal procedures and trains newcomers
  • Animating the team by conducting and organising briefings, encouraging team spirit, knowledge sharing and know-how, and collaborative partnership with the Sales Teams, and the other métiers in the Boutique
  • Contributing to the planning of the boutique's stock activities and personnel resources and making proposals to the Boutique Operations Manager to optimise resources
  • Accompanying and supporting the team in carrying out daily tasks
  • Being responsible for developing, leading and ensuring the presentation of new products by the team during morning briefings
  • Supporting and encouraging the Chanel Vital Behaviours every day
  • Collaborating with all of the Boutique teams to ensure all métiers work together to constantly elevate the client experience
  • Embracing a learning journey with a blended approach, using digital, in-person and individual resources, driven by personal curiosity, to develop the ultimate level of expertise and embody the Chanel client relational promise
Contributing to the operational efficiency of the Fashion Boutique and its financial health.
  • Managing and organising stock activities: reception and control of deliveries, management of customer reservations, obsolete items, follow-up of invoices and packaging, re-labelling of products, organisation of sales
  • Creating and managing the information process within the Boutique for expected deliveries
  • Being responsible for the proper conduct and results of inventories in accordance with procedures: rotating inventories by product family and annual inventory, as well as the inventory of remote stock
  • Making proposals to Boutique Management in order to optimise operational processes and make improvements to the supply system and the logistics organisation
  • Carrying out regular stock analyses to provide input for optimisation
